It was my absolute pleasure to host one of the very first 4DPlanning workshops in academia, earlier this week at RMIT University, School of Property, Construction and ProjectManagement PCPMM) in my ‘Managing Complex Projects’ course.

ProjectVisualisation technique is a very practical and novel approach to tackle complexity is MegaProjects and 4D Planning technique is one of them.

Special thanks to my great friend, colleague and industry contact, Peter Yavari 4D Planning Lead at CPB Contractors (as part of Melbourne Metro Tunnel project JointVenture) for designing, developing and delivering two fantastic 4D Planning workshops in my course. As can be seen from the Collaborate Ultra space, 47 students (80%) participated in the first workshop, which is a record for an online session in week 09 (almost down the road to the end of semester). Well done, Peter! You did a fabulous job!

Another special thanks goes to Bentley Systems and their fabulous 4D Planning software, SynchroPRO for offering their software to RMITUniversity for free and educational purposes.
